How many hours a day can I wear it? Will it weaken my abdominal muscles?

Start by wearing Nuvea for a few hours and gradually increase the time as long as you remain comfortable.

Nuvea uses flexible, progressive compression that allows you to move and breathe normally. It should complement your postpartum recovery and should not replace movement, rehabilitation, or pelvic-floor exercises.

If you experience pain, numbness, difficulty breathing, or uncomfortable pressure, remove it immediately.

Does it feel hot in warm weather? Will it leave marks or irritate my skin?

Nuvea is made with a lightweight, breathable mesh fabric without rigid layers, hooks, or bulky fasteners.

Its wide, flat waistband distributes pressure more evenly and helps it remain smooth underneath clothing.

The brief should feel supportive, not painful. If it leaves deep marks or causes irritation, remove it and check the size guide.

How should I wash it? Will it lose its compression?

Hand-wash it or machine-wash it on a cold, gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag.

Do not use fabric softener, bleach, or a tumble dryer. Heat and fabric softener can damage the elasticity of compression fabric.

Gently reshape it and allow it to air-dry. Following these instructions will help preserve its fit and support.

Can I wear it during pregnancy or while exercising?

Do not wear Nuvea during pregnancy. It is designed for postpartum and everyday shapewear use.

You can wear it while walking and during normal daily activities. For intense exercise or targeted abdominal workouts, follow the advice of your doctor or pelvic-floor physical therapist.

Can I wear Nuvea if I have not given birth?

Yes. Although Nuvea was created with postpartum needs in mind, it can also be worn as everyday shapewear.
